Summary Loving Touch Daycare is seeking a
highly qualified and experienced Two-Year-Old Lead Teacher to join our team
immediately . We need a dedicated educator who understands the unique needs of two-year-olds, can implement a structured curriculum, and maintains strong classroom discipline while fostering a nurturing learning environment.
Qualifications:
- CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or a degree in Early Childhood Education (Associate?s or Bachelor?s preferred).
- At least five (5) years of experience as a lead teacher in a two-year-old classroom.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to set clear expectations while providing a structured, loving environment.
- Experience developing and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans that encourage social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Ability to create a consistent routine that supports behavior management and learning.
- Knowledge of Georgia Bright from the Start and Georgia Quality Rated standards (preferred).
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute structured learning activities that promote language, motor skills, and social development.
- Maintain a well-organized, engaging, and structured classroom that supports learning and positive behavior.
- Implement effective discipline strategies that guide two-year-olds in learning appropriate behaviors.
- Provide consistent routines to help children feel secure and develop independence.
- Communicate effectively with parents via Brightwheel and in-person updates.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing learning environment.
- Collaborate with other staff to maintain a high-quality educational experience .

Serious applicants only. Duties - Lesson Planning & Curriculum Implementation: Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that support early learning, language development, fine and gross motor skills, and social-emotional growth.
- Classroom Management & Discipline: Maintain a structured and organized classroom with clear expectations and positive discipline strategies that teach appropriate behaviors.
- Routine & Structure: Establish and follow a consistent daily routine that includes learning activities, playtime, meals, naps, and transitions to help two-year-olds feel secure.
- Behavior Guidance: Implement firm yet nurturing discipline to manage behaviors effectively and teach social-emotional skills such as sharing, turn-taking, and self-regulation.
- Communication with Parents: Provide daily updates through Brightwheel and in-person communication to keep families informed about their child?s progress and development.
- Hygiene & Safety: Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment by assisting children with handwashing, diapering/potty training, and maintaining classroom cleanliness.
- Interactive & Hands-On Learning: Use engaging activities, songs, stories, and sensory play to promote development in all learning domains.
- Collaboration with Staff: Work with other teachers and staff to create a supportive and high-quality learning environment for all children.
This position requires
patience, consistency, and strong leadership to guide two-year-olds through their developmental milestones in a nurturing yet structured environment.
Requirements Must have a valid updated CDA
Must have CPR
Must have an updated 10 hour state training
