Summary Loving Touch Daycare is seeking a
qualified and experienced Infant Teacher to provide loving, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care for infants
ages 0-12 months . This position requires a nurturing educator who understands infant development, can create a stimulating environment, and ensures the highest standards of safety and care.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or an Associate?s degree in Early Childhood Education (required).
- Experience working with infants (0-12 months)in a licensed childcare setting.
- Strong understanding of infant care, safety, and development , including feeding, diapering, tummy time, and sensory play.
- Ability to create a warm, responsive, and structured environment that promotes bonding and early learning.
- Knowledge of Georgia Bright from the Start and Georgia Quality Rated standards (preferred).
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized care and attention to meet the needs of each infant.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage sensory exploration, motor skills, and early social development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Follow consistent feeding, diapering, and nap schedules while ensuring infants? comfort and well-being.
- Communicate daily with parents via Brightwheel and in-person updates.
- Monitor and document infant milestones and development .
This is a
full-time, immediate-hire position for a
dedicated and qualified Infant Teacher who can provide
high-quality care and early learning experiences .
Duties - Provide Individualized Care: Attend to each infant?s needs, including feeding, diapering, comforting, and soothing to ensure their well-being.
- Implement Age-Appropriate Activities: Engage infants in tummy time, sensory play, music, and language development activities to support cognitive and motor skill development.
- Ensure a Safe & Nurturing Environment: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free classroom that promotes exploration and security.
- Develop and Follow Daily Routines: Establish consistent feeding, sleeping, and play schedules to create a stable environment for infants.
- Monitor Infant Development: Observe and track developmental milestones such as grasping, rolling, crawling, and early communication skills.
- Communicate with Families: Provide daily reports through Brightwheel and in-person updates to keep parents informed about feedings, diaper changes, naps, and milestones.
- Support Emotional & Social Growth: Foster a warm, loving, and responsive atmosphere that helps infants build trust and secure attachments.
- Maintain Hygiene & Safety Standards: Follow sanitation, diapering, and handwashing procedures to ensure a healthy environment.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work with other teachers and staff to provide high-quality infant care and maintain licensing standards.
This role requires
patience, attentiveness, and a passion for infant care to create a nurturing
early learning experience for babies in a structured and supportive setting.
Requirements Must have a valid CDA
Or an early childhood degree
