Job Description

Job Summary:   

We are looking for a dependable and organized Delivery Driver/Warehouse Personnel to join our team. This role involves both driving to deliver goods to job sites in a timely and professional manner, as well as performing warehouse duties such as organizing inventory, loading/unloading shipments, and assisting with general warehouse tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. 

Job responsibilities including, but not limited to : 

Driving/delivery duties:  

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products. 
• Plan efficient delivery routes and ensure timely deliveries. 
• Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring safe transport. 
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including handling customer inquiries. 
• Verify delivery information, including addresses, phone numbers, and delivery instructions. 
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any issues or required maintenance. 
• Maintain delivery logs and other documentation as required. 

Warehouse duties:  

• Receive, unpack, inspect, and store incoming inventory. 
• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare items for outgoing deliveries. 
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks for both incoming and outgoing shipments. 
• Organize and maintain the warehouse space for cleanliness and safety. 
• Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies. 
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, when needed (training provided). 
• Assist with general warehouse maintenance and other duties as assigned. 
• Other Duties as Assigned 

Qualifications & Abilities  

• High school diploma or equivalent required. 
• Valid driver’s license with chauffeur’s endorsement and a clean driving record. 
• Previous experience in delivery driving and/or warehouse work preferred. 
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 75 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment. 
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
• Excellent time management and the ability to work independently. 
• Good communication skills and customer service orientation. 
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and forklift certification (preferred but not required). 

Work Environment & Physical Requirements  

• Regularly required to lift, move, and carry objects. 
• May involve long periods of driving and/or standing. 
• Exposure to various weather conditions while making deliveries. 

Classification & Compensation  

• The position is full-time, permanent and hourly. 
• The pay range is $17-$20 /hr., depending on experience, skills, abilities.
