Are you an Electrical Engineer (PE) that has experience working with a variety of commercial buildings? AEC Resources is hiring an Electrical Engineer!

This is a brand-new position designing electrical systems for commercial architecture projects. This role will entail design, engineering, and some project management of building systems.

We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer | Building Systems to join our team and play a key role in designing high-performance electrical systems for commercial, healthcare, educational, and industrial facilities. • Salary commensurate with experience: $90,000 - $125,000 per year

Responsibilities:

• Design power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems that make buildings safer, smarter, and more efficient
• Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other disciplines to develop integrated building systems
• Prepare electrical engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications
• Perform site assessments, field verifications, and system troubleshooting to ensure seamless project execution
• Support project management efforts by coordinating with contractors, clients, and stakeholders

About You:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering degree, or graduate degree
• Licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE)
• Knowledge of power, lighting, and special systems for building projects
• Understanding of NEC, energy codes, and industry standards.
• Revit and/or AutoCAD proficient
