Position Overview
This position reports to the Learning and Development Director of DOWC.
Travel Requirements
Travel averaging 15 - 20 days per month is a requirement for this role, with expenses covered by the company.
Ideal Candidate
This position is well-suited for individuals who are enthusiastic about presentations and training. Applicants under consideration must possess technical proficiency. Experience in automotive dealership sales, compliance, and administration. Candidates with technical expertise are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Lead new dealer launches by training newly hired F&I managers and Sales on compliance requirements and sales skills.
Provide post-launch support and training.
Instruct and roll out training of AFIC and DOWC to automobile dealerships.
Offer administrative support for dealers and the sales department.
Participate in Zoom presentations and sales training sessions for dealers on the premises and at the corporate office in NJ.
Assist with travel coordination for launches and training schedules.
Monitor dealer performance and coordinate with our dealership to address some of their training needs analysis.
Coordinate with the learning and development director the events calendar and readiness checklist for the classroom training.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
Vision acuity is required to include close vision, color vision, distant vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Ability to grasp objects such a telephone or computer mouse, finger dexterity to use a keyboard, calculator, and standard office equipment.
Ability to walk, stand, reach with hands and arms; stoop kneel, crouch, and lift up to 25 pounds.
Ability to frequently sit for extended periods of time.
Ability to hear and talk, both in person and by phone.
Ability to spend extended hours in front of a computer screen.
Ability to drive and travel.
Education and Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
Car Dealer Experience in a sales or sales support capacity is a plus.
Ability to maintain an upbeat, positive, and friendly attitude, and effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
Strong computer skills.
Process-driven.
