Job Description

Senior Field Inspector / Engineer who has experience in civil site work and utility inspection for our Savannah, Georgia office.

The position will be the main contact for a group of clients and ensure that the company’s high standards are met, and clients are satisfied with our service.

The person awarded this position will…

• Conduct assessments of civil projects (e.g., roads, drainage, utilities, grading) on a weekly basis
• Prepare inspection reports documenting findings from field visits to civil project locations
• Communicate with clients, contractors, surveyors, and engineers
• Coordination with the Authority Having Jurisdiction
• Resolve construction issues in person
• Coordinate project team and attend meetings
• Performs other related duties as assigned

• Civil site construction installation
• Water and sewer pipe installation
• Stormwater management and pipe installation
• Erosion control and monitoring
• Assessment of existing asphalt conditions
• Asphaltic concrete paving
• Road construction
• Concrete paving
• Civil site construction plan review

Qualifications & Experience

• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Experience in Microsoft programs
• 10 years in municipal or civil site work
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Some survey experience preferred (not required)
• AutoCAD experience preferred (not required)
• United States Work Authorization (required)

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
• Must be able to travel to various agencies and clients, as needed
