Job Description

A high-end food hall in Long Island City is seeking a Temporary Food & Beverage Supervisor with an administrative focus to support their dynamic team of F&B professionals. This role combines customer service, operational support, and administrative responsibilities to ensure smooth daily operations.

• Location: Long Island City, Queens
• Pay Rate: $24/hour
• Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Subject to change)

Responsibilities:

• Ensure a memorable guest experience by promptly addressing customer issues and concerns.
• Serve as a main point of contact for guests, vendors, and staff, offering assistance as needed.
• Provide professional communication over the phone and in person, ensuring clarity and courtesy.
• Drive sales through excellent customer service and hospitality.
• Create and follow up on work orders using the Angus building operations app, ensuring timely completion.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the dining area, adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Manage triple seat inquiries, ensuring efficient organization and a 24-hour response time.
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Teams) for communication and administrative tasks.
• Communicate effectively with the General Manager (GM) and PMO, addressing operational issues as they arise.
• Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by management or supervisors.
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Current NYC Food Handler's License required.
• Previous experience in a dining environment with administrative responsibilities preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Outgoing personality with a positive, proactive attitude.
• Ability to work cooperatively within a team, with a strong sense of urgency and punctuality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Teams.
• Must have open availability (current schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM; subject to change).
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 20 lbs and standing for extended periods.
• Compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene policies and standards.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and move around in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs regularly.
• The work environment requires both stationary and active tasks, with a focus on customer service, team collaboration, and meeting operational goals.
