Job Description

Human Resources Internship Program

Overview:

This Human Resources Internship provides hands-on experience working directly with an HR team in a non-leadership capacity . Interns will gain valuable knowledge of HR operations , network with college peers and professionals , and participate in business seminars led by industry experts.

Interns will have the opportunity to learn about various aspects of theme park operations , including Culinary, Finance, HR, Marketing, Park Operations, Retail, and Workforce Planning .

Internship Opportunities:

  • Associate Services Coordinator: Assist with answering HR-related inquiries, distributing uniforms, managing inventory sales, and laundering uniforms .
  • Bridge USA Program Coordinator: Support international student workers by coordinating their arrival plans, onboarding, and organizing social events , including local trips.
  • Employee Housing Coordinator: Assist employees with check-in, check-out, and overall housing support during their stay.
  • Employment Center Coordinator: Support employee onboarding, scheduling, work permits, paperwork processing, and HR inquiries .
  • HR Compliance Coordinator: Conduct audits of employee records, work permits, and HR systems (HRIS) to ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • L&D Trainer: Assist with onboarding sessions, training programs, and managing the learning management system (LMS) .
  • Recruiting Coordinator: Support job fairs, remote recruiting events, applicant tracking, and hiring efforts .
  • Volunteer Program Coordinator: Manage the volunteer program , coordinate with different organizations, and recruit new volunteer groups.

Note: Responsibilities may be adjusted as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Resume submission is required to be considered.
  • Must be 18 years or older .
  • Must be currently pursuing or recently graduated (within 180 days) from a college program.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 16 hours per week , including weekends and peak business days.
  • Commitment to completing the program during one of the following timeframes:
  • Spring: February – April/May
  • Summer: May/June – August
  • Fall: August/September – December
  • Spring & Summer: February – August
  • Summer & Fall: May/June – December
