An Oak Ridge-based startup is revolutionizing uranium laser enrichment technology. Following a successful Series A funding round, they are seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to drive the next phase of this cutting-edge technology’s development.
In this pivotal role, you will lead the mechanical development of the core system where the laser interacts with uranium - a process central to the company’s mission. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in CFD and FEA , with a strong background in designing complex mechanical systems for nuclear or high-tech industries. Familiarity with gaseous or chemical reactions is highly desirable, as is expertise in advanced CFD software like ANSYS Fluent or COMSOL Multiphysics.
You will play a key role in optimizing gas flow parameters and ensuring the system’s stability and efficiency.
