Job Description: Fort Mill Economic Partners is seeking a dedicated and passionate intern to assist with outreach and engagement efforts. The intern will play a key role in supporting various initiatives (including an annual race) aimed at raising awareness, building relationships, and engaging the community in our mission. The intern will work closely with the Executive Director and Executive Team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of outreach strategies to increase awareness of FMEP and its programs.
- Coordinate logistics for the race, including securing COI’s, coordinating with vendors, managing registration, and overseeing race day operations.
- Recruit and manage volunteers to support various aspects of the event, including registration, course marshaling, and post-race activities.
- Assist in the creation of content for social media, website, and other communication channels to engage and inform our audience.
-Provide administrative support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university, or recent graduate.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Strong organizational skills and attention to
detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.
-Experience with social media management, content creation, or event planning is preferred but not required.
- Passion for the mission and values of FMEP.
