Job Summary:

This is an opportunity to join a highly entrepreneurial and growing business, backed by investors who represent leading figures within the equipment rental industry. This Sales Representative position will be responsible for calling on customers in certain markets and industries.

Scope & Responsibilities:

· Assisting customer in selling new and used equipment, rentals, and keeping the company aware of sales & rental activities.

· Identifying and cultivating new sales opportunities

· Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers in construction/farming/material handling industries. Create and promote the company image through exercising sound and ethical business practices as related to customers, personnel and the business community at large.

· Developing and maintaining strong knowledge of Cisco equipment line-up in addition to competitive products.

· Conducting demonstrations of equipment to customers, performing operation training to customers in the branch and at customer job site.

· Coordinating delivery and pickup of equipment from customers.

· Processing all quotes, sales, rentals, and lease-purchase agreements, supporting customer and company needs during financing and/or credit application process.

· Preparing all required sales reports, call reports, and other documentation deemed necessary in a timely manner and getting them to the manager of sales for weekly staff meetings; completing them accurately and neatly.

· Provide input to the Sales Manager regarding suggested policy revisions or sales practices updates to keep that individual aware of the attitude of the customers and the market place which may require internal changes

· Demonstrating the ability to tactfully handle difficult situations while maintaining personal confidence and exhibiting sustaining self-esteem.

· Assisting outside sales reps and management with field sales activities.

· Effectively understanding and using all manufacturer's programs and resources to generate new business.

· Represents Cisco Equipment at industry and company events, including meetings and training.

· Follows all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adheres to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.

· Practicing good time management skills that will result in effectively completed duties, punctual and organized interaction with others.

· Working full days, not misusing the hours allotted for sales efforts on behalf of the company, staying in daily communication with the Sales Manager.

· Maintaining a well groomed professional appearance appropriate for the position and the situation.

· Performs all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.

Skills & Qualifications:

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

· Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask

· Computer skills required

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a great attitude

· Personal appearance must be clean and neat

· Equipment knowledge or previous industry experience a plus

· Valid driver's license and the ability to meet requirements of company driver policy

· Must be able to pass a drug test

· Must be able to pass a background check

Education & Experience:

· High school diploma, GED or vocational training/certification

· Minimum of 2-4 years sales experience in the heavy equipment industry

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods standing, squatting, bending, or sitting while driving.

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times

· Must be able to pass a WorkSteps exam (fit for duty)
