Job Title: Project Engineer - Naval Architect

Location: Houston, USA

What will you be doing?

  • Lead naval architecture and marine engineering efforts for FSRU/LNGC newbuild and conversion projects.
  • Ensure the highest industry standards in vessel design, adhering to Classification Society Rules, Flag State, and Regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and manage engineering scopes, coordinating basic and detailed designs in line with project criteria and company policies.
  • Oversee vendor and shipyard designs, ensuring compliance with project needs and regulatory standards.
  • Innovate by evaluating new technologies and concepts for applicability and effectiveness in LNG solutions.

Are you the ideal candidate?

  • Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in naval architecture and marine engineering, particularly with FSRU/LNGC projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards, including Classification Society Rules and the IGC Code.
  • Proven ability to manage complex engineering projects, from concept through execution.
