Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Peoria, IL (ideal) or Irving, TX, Hybrid - 3 days weekly in office
Contract: 12-month contract with ongoing need, opportunity for direct hire
Pay Rate : $78.00 – 83.00/hr.
Job Summary: The Project Manager will provide project and change management for Collaboration Services initiatives that typically impact Microsoft products and services supporting the business enterprise (105k+ end users). Responsibilities include strategic planning, organizing, managing, and implementing small to complex programs and projects in accordance with project management principles and change management to deliver Workplace Modernization business value, desired outcomes, and a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Strategically plan, organize, and implement programs and projects to deliver business value and desired outcomes on time and within budget.
Manage internal and potential third-party resources to achieve project objectives.
Regularly communicate project status to stakeholders across the enterprise, including IT and Business Unit partners.
Identify and address potential risks on projects to stay on track.
Make informed decisions to keep projects on track through critical thinking and decision-making.
Manage day-to-day project activities regarding project responsibilities, schedules, and develop contingency plans for potential risks.
Years of Experience and Education:
Bachelor's degree in any field with 10+ years of experience.
No degree requires at least 12+ years of experience in this field/capacity.
PMP Certification is a plus.
Skills Required:
Ability to strategically plan, organize, and implement programs and projects to deliver business value and desired outcomes on time and within budget.
Experience managing internal and potential third-party resources to achieve project objectives.
Proficiency in regularly communicating project status to stakeholders across the enterprise, including IT and Business Unit partners.
