Assistant General Manager - Dean’s Italian Steakhouse

Starting Salary: $66K-$73K, Exempt Position

What You’ll Do

As the Assistant General Manager at Dean’s Italian Steakhouse, you will:

• Lead and mentor the front-of-house team, including other managers, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
• Oversee and manage the beverage program, ensuring quality, inventory control, and staff training while maintaining cost efficiencies.
• Hire, train, and develop team members to deliver exceptional service aligned with our upscale dining standards.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and leadership teams to ensure seamless communication and consistency across all departments.
• Handle guest relations with professionalism, promptly resolving concerns to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Manage daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and ensuring efficient service delivery.
• Support operational goals by driving profitability and maintaining high standards of service and presentation.

What You’ll Bring

• 3-5 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in upscale or fine dining establishments.
• Proven leadership abilities with experience managing and mentoring teams, including other managers.
• Strong expertise in food and beverage, with a focus on overseeing comprehensive beverage programs.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to delivering superior guest service and operational excellence.
• Sommelier certification or wine management experience is a plus.
