Job Description:

• Develop brush settings and trajectories offline with Robot Studio (ABB) for Flaming, Primer / Adpro, Base Coat and Clear coat application
• Conduct paint trials to achieve all required paint quality requirements on the whole painted surface of the part: Paint coverage, film thickness, surface structure, gloss, color, adhesion and scrap rate
• Evaluate paint defects, root cause analysis of the paint defects and appropriate optimization of the robotic paint process to eliminate the paint defects and achieve required scrap rate. Application related scrap rate below 1.5% (=Runs, LOB, LOC, NOK structure, off color)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience for liquid paint application for Automotive Class A exterior surfaces as robot programmer with ABB robots are required.
