The Gund Company has an immediate opening at our­­­­­ Amsterdam, NY manufacturing facility for a Senior Human Resources Generalist to join our team!

Work Schedule: Hybrid

Annual Starting Salary: $75,000-$80,000

Plant/Work Location : 200 Wallins Corners Road

Job Summary

The Senior Human Resources Generalist (internal title is HR Specialist) reports to the Senior Human Resource Business Partner on-site and provides support for two facilities with at total of @130 employees in the areas of recruitment, employee relations, benefits , organization development, training , safety, FMLA. The Human Resource Generalist acts as an advisor/coach in all aspects of the employment life cycle.

• Partners with HRBP and facility leadership in execution of HR programs and initiatives.
• Oversees multi-site full-cycle recruitment-to-hire process.
• Oversee progressive disciplinary actions in accordance with established guidelines
• Leads safety program in accordance with established business processes.
• Coordinates investigation of workplace injuries, near miss incidents, and w orkers compensation claims process.
• Supports performance management process .

Requirements:

• Seven years + Human Resource Generalist experience with employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits administration, training and development, and recruitment , required .
• Certification in Human Resources , strongly preferred . (PHR, aPHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)
• BA/BS in HR Management or 7+ years Human Resource Generalist experience, required .
• Experience in Industrial Manufacturing environment, preferred .

Additional Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of full-cycle recruitment, employee relations, benefits , organization development, training , safety, FMLA, ADA, worker's compensation, safety administration and organization development.
• Experience with HRIS (HCM) systems. ( Paylocity experience is a plus).
