Course: Vertebrate Zoology
This course is a study of vertebrates, including fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals. By integrating their history, morphology, physiology, ecology, and behavioral adaptations, students will develop a greater understanding of vertebrates and how they survive effectively in their natural habitats.
What You Will Do:
Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
What You Will Bring:
Preferred: Doctorate in Zoology
OR a Doctorate in Biological Science with an emphasis in animal form and function or evolutionary biology or animal behavior
OR Master’s in Zoology
OR a Master’s in Biological Science with an emphasis in animal form and function or evolutionary biology or animal behavior
Minimum: Master’s in any field with 18 graduate credit hours in Zoology or Biology emphasizing animal form and function or evolutionary biology or animal behavior
