Job Description

We are looking for a Vice President of Global Drug Safety to join a dynamic and growing team within the pharmaceutical industry. Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), you will lead a team of four direct reports, with the potential to expand the team in the near future. This position is focused on hematology-oncology studies, and experience in these therapeutic areas is highly desired.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the global drug safety strategy across various drug development phases.
Oversee and support the pharmacovigilance and safety monitoring for the pipeline, particularly within hematology and oncology studies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between drug safety and other departments, both domestically and internationally.
Provide leadership and mentorship to a growing team, fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Stay closely involved in drug safety operations and be a hands-on leader when necessary.
What We're Looking For:

MD (Medical Doctor) with 10+ years of experience in drug development, drug safety, and pharmacovigilance.
Expertise in hematology studies is essential.
Strong leadership background with a track record of building and managing teams.
Ability to collaborate effectively across different functions and geographical regions, particularly with teams in Europe.
Willingness to be hands-on and engaged in the day-to-day operations.

Competitive salary range of $380,000 to $420,000 per year, based on experience.
