In this role, you'll work directly with game developers to give feedback on gameplay designs for casual content.

The opportunity to delight millions of gamers is massive, but it's also an ambiguous challenge. You will leverage your game design knowledge to help define and prioritize content for players. You'll work with world-class third-party game developers to assess and design great exclusive content. You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and will collaborate with business development, engineering, marketing, and other stakeholders to resolve ambiguity and balance competing priorities.

  • Provide compelling vision and thought-leadership on games to peers and stakeholders.
  • Generalize requirements (functional and technical) gathered from a diverse set of customers, industry trends, and larger technology trends. Determine minimum viable product requirements.
  • Participate in strategy planning by developing (or helping to develop) marketing-related ideas into concepts and prototypes.
  • Constantly stay up to date with products and services across the game industry.
  • Drive key projects worldwide with complete independence.
  • Work with developers to ensure your content and features are delivered to high quality.

About the Team

Our client applies the principles of innovation and customer focus to the world of games, delivering gaming benefits for members. The team consists of talented, creative individuals pairing their love of games with the unique strengths that come with being part of a global technology company. Across all teams and locations, they are united by a common purpose: to share great gaming experiences with customers around the world.

They believe in a future where everyone is a gamer and everyone can create, compete, collaborate, and connect through games. They are looking for the right people to help build that future. With strong resources at your fingertips, you will have the chance to innovate in gameplay, creativity, marketing, and technology, while working alongside some of the smartest and most creative minds in the industry.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience working with third-party developers to build great content
  • Experience creating and documenting high-quality design guidelines and development strategies
  • Has shipped games across a variety of platforms on time and on budget
  • A portfolio that demonstrates process and capabilities in crafting compelling gameplay
  • Experience communicating with customers, technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe products, and technical designs
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint), Figma, Photoshop

Preferred Qualifications

  • Casual gaming design experience
  • BA, technical degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience creating end-to-end game experiences
  • In-depth knowledge of game theory and design best practices
  • Experience building games in a wide variety of genres, for a variety of platforms
