Job Title: Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking skilled Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Technicians to support a high-profile project at an automotive manufacturing assembly plant. This role demands expertise in heavy industrial settings, with a focus on installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of complex instrumentation and control systems. Ideal candidates will have substantial experience in major capital commercial projects and demonstrate strong technical acumen and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain instrumentation and control systems.
• Perform loop checks and verify system functionality.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, schematics, and control logic.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards during system testing and operation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and project managers to achieve project goals.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, including test results and calibration data.
• Support system commissioning and start-up activities.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 4-8 years of instrumentation and controls experience in heavy industrial and major capital commercial projects.
• Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving issues with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and process instrumentation.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in instrumentation and controls are highly desirable.
• Preferred Experience: Automotive manufacturing assembly plant experience is highly desirable.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $35-$50/hour (Lead Tech/Foreman level at $50/hour).
• Per Diem: $90/day available for eligible candidates.
• Schedule: 60-hour workweeks, Monday-Saturday.
