Job Description

Job Title: Personal Assistant

Job Summary:  We are seeking a motivated and highly organized individual for a Personal Assistant role with a strong administrative background. The ideal candidate will have experience managing schedules, clear communication skills, and a strong attention to detail. This position requires someone who can work independently and manage multiple avenues of administrative need.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support:  Provide comprehensive administrative assistance, focusing on scheduling, communication, and maintaining smooth daily operations for a family with a diverse business portfolio.
  • Communication:  Serve as the main point of contact for various internal and external parties, managing emails, phone calls, and facilitating effective communication across teams. 
  • Document Management:  Organize and maintain files in QuickBooks, Excel, and Dropbox for easy access and accuracy.
  • Task Coordination:  Develop and maintain systems to track tasks, prioritize schedules for the owners and staff, and ensure deadlines are met for multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with discretion, ensuring compliance with company privacy policies and regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Required Skills:
  • Proficiency with  QuickBooks, Excel , and  Dropbox .
  • Excellent  communication skills  (both verbal and written).
  • Strong experience with  scheduling and task management .
  • High  attention to detail  and the ability to maintain multiple systems for tracking projects and tasks.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be  self-motivated  and able to anticipate needs and solve problems proactively.
  • Must have transportation .

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience as a personal assistant  or similar administrative role.
  • Familiarity with  property management
  • Experience with scheduling itineraries for travel and event bookings.

Compensation:

  • Hourly Rate : $20-$40 depending on experience
  • Contract position starting immediately 
  • Eligible for Overtime 

Additional Requirements:

  • Hybrid work within Chattanooga, TN
  • Must pass background check.
  • 1099 contracted employee status.
